Are you a dynamic, results-driven sales professional with a proven track record in the diesel parts and trucking industry? Do you have a passion for leading teams, forging new business relationships, and achieving ambitious sales targets? If so, this Permanent Outside Sales Manager position might be the perfect fit for you. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing sales team and drive the growth of our diesel parts division. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, sourcing parts, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the trucking and transportation industry.

Responsibilities:

As our Permanent Outside Sales Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading and managing a team of outside sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  2. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the diesel parts and trucking industry.
  3. Sourcing parts from reliable suppliers and negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
  4. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key clients in the trucking and transportation industry.
  5. Providing accurate sales forecasts and reporting on sales performance and market trends to senior management.
  6. Identifying new business opportunities and potential markets for expansion.
  7. Providing ongoing training and support to sales team members to ensure their skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
  8. Working closely with other departments such as marketing and customer service to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this Permanent Outside Sales Manager position will have:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership, specifically in the diesel parts and trucking industry.
  2. A deep understanding of the trucking and transportation industry, including the sourcing and selling of diesel parts.
  3. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  4. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  6. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  7. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  8. A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
