We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney specializing in Employee Benefits & Compensation. This role will be an integral part of our legal team, focusing on providing comprehensive legal advice and solutions in the areas of employee benefits and executive compensation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these areas, with a deep understanding of the legal considerations and implications involved.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of employee benefits and executive compensation matters.
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive legal strategies to meet the organization's needs in relation to employee benefits and compensation.
  3. Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents related to employee benefits and compensation, including employment contracts, benefit plans, and executive compensation agreements.
  4. Stay abreast of current laws, regulations, and industry trends in employee benefits and compensation to ensure the organization's compliance and competitive position.
  5. Represent the organization in legal proceedings related to employee benefits and compensation.
  6. Collaborate closely with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure the alignment of legal strategies with business objectives.
  7. Provide training and guidance to HR and management on legal issues related to employee benefits and compensation.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney specializing in employee benefits and executive compensation.
  3. Admitted to practice law in the state or willing to obtain admission.
  4. Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to employee benefits and compensation, including ERISA, tax laws, and securities laws.
  5. Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and understandable manner.
  8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
