Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our Real Estate practice group. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual to work on complex real estate transactions, leasing, and REIT matters. The successful candidate will be a part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality legal services to a diverse clientele. This position is perfect for a seasoned attorney who is looking to take their career to the next level in a supportive, collaborative, and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel on a variety of real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, development, and REIT matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate agreements and contracts.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence and risk assessment on real estate transactions.
  • Advise clients on legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to real estate transactions.
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, if necessary.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure a seamless delivery of legal services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and market trends affecting real estate transactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering legal advice that meets their business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in real estate law, with a focus on transactions, leasing, and REIT matters.
  • Proven track record in handling complex real estate transactions.
  • Strong negotiation skills and an ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High level of professionalism and adherence to strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
