Job Details:

We are currently in search of a passionate and highly skilled Permanent Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the manufacturing industry, with a strong emphasis on automotive design. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and enhancing our product line, and will play a crucial part in driving our company's success. The successful candidate will be adept at using Autocad and Siemens NX, and will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and engineer high-quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
2. Work closely with the product management team to understand and define product requirements.
3. Develop innovative design solutions to meet product and customer requirements.
4. Create and modify detailed drawings using Autocad and Siemens NX software.
5. Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and can be manufactured efficiently.
6. Conduct regular design reviews and present your work to cross-functional teams.
7. Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of design-related production issues.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies in the automotive industry.
9. Ensure all designs meet regulatory standards and safety requirements.
10. Participate in continuous improvement activities, striving for innovation and enhancements in all aspects of the job.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Design Engineer in the manufacturing industry, preferably in automotive design.
3. Proficiency in Autocad and Siemens NX, or equivalent CAD software.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product design, and production design.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas.
6. Superior technical expertise and attention to detail.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. A positive, can-do attitude, with a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
11. Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
