Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Regional Construction Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in the construction industry, particularly in the areas of underground utilities and power. As a key member of our team, you will have the chance to showcase your expertise in managing construction projects, resolving contracts, and handling change orders. You will be responsible for overseeing daily construction requirements, managing construction workers, and ensuring quality control. In addition, you will be tasked with vendor management, client support, scheduling, and managing budgets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all regional construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Manage all aspects of underground utility and power construction projects.
  3. Resolve contract issues and handle change orders with utmost professionalism and efficiency.
  4. Generate executive reports detailing project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  5. Manage daily construction requirements, ensuring all tasks are carried out according to plan.
  6. Supervise and manage construction workers, ensuring they adhere to safety standards and work efficiently.
  7. Implement effective change management strategies to accommodate project adjustments.
  8. Handle vendor management, ensuring all materials and services are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  9. Provide exceptional client support, addressing concerns, and providing updates on project progress.
  10. Ensure strict quality control measures are in place and adhered to at all construction sites.
  11. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
  12. Manage project budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and justified.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on underground utilities and power.
  3. Proven experience in managing construction projects, resolving contracts, and handling change orders.
  4. Proficient in generating executive reports and managing daily construction requirements.
  5. Demonstrated experience in managing construction workers and implementing change management strategies.
  6. Excellent vendor management and client support skills.
  7. Strong knowledge of quality control measures in the construction industry.
  8. Proficient in project scheduling and budget management.
  9. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  11. Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  12. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
