As a Fabrication Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role on our team, leading and managing all aspects of our fabrication department. Your primary focus will be on sheet metal fabrication, using laser cutting machines, metal forming machines, and waterjet cutting machines. This role presents an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills and leadership abilities in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will be responsible for driving efficiency and productivity, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship, and fostering a culture of safety and collaboration. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, you will have the expertise to guide your team towards success.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and manage all activities within the fabrication department, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
2. Utilize your expertise in sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting machines, and metal forming machines to provide hands-on guidance and training to your team.
3. Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality in the fabrication process.
4. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, fostering a culture of safety within the department.
5. Conduct regular inspections of work, ensuring all products meet the company's quality standards and client specifications.
6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure the department remains competitive.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a metal fabrication role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
2. At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
3. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting and metal forming machines.
4. Proven track record in managing a team, driving productivity, and improving processes.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
6. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
7. A relevant certification or degree in a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
