We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Consulting Help Desk professional in the Technology industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring our clients receive the highest level of technical support and guidance. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, troubleshooting and resolving network issues, and providing expert advice on LAN and WAN systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a deep understanding of network systems and a passion for problem-solving to make a significant impact on our client's operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for clients seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
  2. Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by clients.
  3. Walk the client through the problem-solving process and provide clear guidance and support.
  4. Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  5. Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.
  6. Follow-up and update customer status and information.
  7. Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
  8. Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
  9. Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations.
  10. Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience of 5+ years as a help desk technician or other customer support role in the technology industry.
  2. Tech savvy with working knowledge of LAN, WAN, and other relevant systems.
  3. Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  4. Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  6. Customer-oriented and cool-tempered, with a passion for providing high-quality support.
  7. BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  8. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ will be considered a plus.
  9. Proficiency in English.
  10. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle pressure situations.
