The Help Desk/Operations Manager is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced, dynamic team in the technology industry. This position is at the heart of our operations, providing critical technical support to our clients and ensuring the smooth running of our systems. As a Help Desk/Operations Manager you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues, maintaining our systems, and providing superior customer service. This role is a contract position, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-tech environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second level support to customers, answering questions, resolving issues, and providing guidance on system use.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Active Directory, 0365, Windows, and PowerShell.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring optimal functionality and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement system improvements and upgrades.
  • Document all technical inquiries and user issues, maintaining a comprehensive database of queries and resolutions.
  • Conduct regular system tests and implement security updates to protect against cyber threats.
  • Train users on system use and best practices, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to utilize our systems effectively.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the technology industry.
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Active Directory, 0365, Windows, and PowerShell.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of users.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
