Parker is seeking a Legal Specialist in its legal department located at its corporate headquarters in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Are you ready to join an industry-leading global company that believes in empowering its employees?Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
The position includes providing various administrative support to Parker attorneys and paralegals, including:Drafting documents and correspondenceOrganizing mailManaging expenses and travelTaking meeting minutesManaging and updating filesThe role also includes primary responsibility for tasks related to TyMetrix 360 (e-billing and matter management software). The legal specialist will be expected to:Use time-management, organization, and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks for the assigned legal staff to meet deadlines.Be proactive in communications with assigned legal staff to ensure all required actions are taken on a timely basis.Demonstrate attention to detail in performing all tasks.Essential Qualifications & Abilities:
Minimum three years of experience in legal administrationProficient in drafting written communications (e.g., use of grammar and ability to be concise and clear)Ability to interact and verbally communicate well with others in a professional and courteous mannerProficient in usage of various computer software (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Experience with e-billing software and matter management systemsStrong organizational skillsWe Offer:
