We are seeking a highly competent Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall accounting and financial reporting functions of the organization. This role will involve working closely with the Controller and CFO to ensure accurate financial operations and compliance with accounting standards.The Company:
SparkCharge is a fast-growing cleantech start-up that is reducing barriers to Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption. We design, manufacture, and sell portable, Level 3 charging systems for EVs. We also provide “Mobile Charging-as-a-Service” (MCaaS) through our “SparkCharge Mobile” network, which allows EV owners and businesses to schedule an EV charge delivery to wherever their vehicle is located. Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements and reports to senior management.Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.Financial Analysis:
Conduct thorough analysis of financial data and provide strategic insights to drive business decisions.Audit and Compliance:
Coordinate the annual audit process and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.Team Management:
Supervise and mentor a team of accounting staff, including overseeing day-to-day activities and professional development.Process Improvement:
Implement and improve accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the availability of funds for operational needs.Taxation:
Oversee tax planning and compliance with all tax regulations.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.Proven experience (5 years) in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills preferred.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure.Benefits:
