Join us on our journey of growth!Remote Opportunity - Open to candidates anywhere in the greater United StatesSUMMARY:The Director, Market Access Strategy & Operations will be a key leader in the Abilify LAI Business Unit. S/he is responsible for executing the brand market access strategies across our Psychiatry portfolio through sound market access principles and analytics and in coordination with our Alliance partners. They will elevate insights and ensure strong tactical execution of field pull-through efforts in collaboration with Sales leaders. In addition, this person will be key to promoting operational excellence within the Abilify LAI Business Unit. The role will require collaboration with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, Advanced Analytics, Training, Legal, and Compliance.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Market Access (Psychiatry Business Unit)Works across Psychiatry strategic brands with the business unit heads, sales leaders, and marketing leaders to establish and implement near and long-term organizational market access strategies and capabilities aligned with brand prioritiesFacilitates cross-functional business problem solving through structured hypotheses, detailed analyses, and synthesized insights leading to recommendations to senior leadershipDrive end-to-end execution of Market Access opportunitiesPartner with Alliance counterparts to facilitate alignment of product strategies, and pull-through of access opportunities.Responsible for effectiveness of Access Marketing outcomesCollaborates with other Market Access colleagues across Lundbeck to leverage synergies and best practicesOperations (Abilify LAI Business Unit)Drives focus and operational excellence across the two Abilify LAI brands providing ongoing and updated market franchise “story”Drives strategic planning processes (e.g., QBR, global presentations)Monitors and gains insight into pharmaceutical commercialization trends and lifecycle management opportunities and creates new initiatives to explore and implementDevelops capabilities on operating with agility and learning from new projects and ideasREQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:Accredited Bachelor’s degree.10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech and/or similar healthcare industry5+ years demonstrating progressive Market Access experienceStrong understanding of the payer channels, customer dynamics, and physician access needs for pharmacy benefit productsStrategic thinker that is able to diagnose and see strategic and operational trends and relate their impact to the bigger strategic pictureStrong executive presentation and communication skills – with exceptional aptitude ability to communicate technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholdersAbility to network across a broad internal and external matrix organization and the skills necessary to form strong, productive partnerships and build consensus and acumenStrong collaboration skills; demonstrated ability to influence without direct management authorityProficient in Microsoft Office Products (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint).PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:Deep experience in both pharmacy and medical benefit markets.Advanced training in market access discipline, including strategies and tactics for launches, ongoing promotion, loss of exclusivity, and reimbursement dynamics for an IV drugHealth policy and/or health economics experience/expertise.Understanding of project management and legal/regulatory approval processesExperience modeling business scenarios and developing business casesHome Office experience in a U.S. pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical organization.MBA, MHA, or other advanced degreesTRAVELWillingness/Ability to travel up to 20% domestically. Increased travel expectations if remote based employee. International travel may be required.The range displayed is a national range, and if selected for this role, may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay Range: $180,000 - $220,000 and eligibility for a 25% bonus target based on company and individual performance, and eligibility to participate in the company’s long-term incentive plan.
