By delivering harmonized data, trusted AI, and faster innovation, we uplift and empower our customers—and our customers’ customers—to make better, more confident decisions.What You'll DoDevelop business growth strategy using action-oriented data-driven decision-making processes.Pose questions, find data, and perform analysis to create growth initiatives that lead to measured business outcomes.Interact with customers, finance, operations, go-to-market sales, marketing, and cross-functional product teams.Identify relevant studies, lead telemetry collection and data analysis to support product requirements.Help facilitate strategic plans, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and activities.Architect, design, and oversee the building of relevant dashboards to support business reviews.Define, analyze, assess, and/or perform Total Available Market (TAM) and Serviceable Available Market (SAM) assessments for future business opportunities.Monitor progress and report on key success metrics to stakeholders.Lead and/or conduct market research to identify service/product gaps and market trends.Use quantitative and qualitative data to understand customer usage habits and needs.Support projected outcomes with relevant market data.Operate independently and as part of a broader team; juggle multiple tasks in a results-oriented environment.Lead cross-functional teams in product life cycle management.Who You'll Work WithThe Product Management team drives the vision and roadmap for Teradata offerings. We work cross-functionally across most parts of the business to deliver outcomes that matter to our customers, our company, and our team.What Makes You a Qualified Candidate10 years of product management experience in a high-growth industry.5 to 10 years of product development experience.Knowledgeable about Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Technical or business undergraduate degree, MBA or equivalent experience preferred.What You'll BringAbility to use influencing skills to lead cross-functional teams.Ability to develop problem statements, analyze scenarios, and develop solutions.Solid understanding of financial systems, product profit and loss models, pricing strategies, and revenue recognition practices.Good understanding of legal documents and entitlements.Stays abreast of industry and competitive trends.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Good communicator who can engage with team members at all levels.Familiarity with Salesforce, ServiceNow, Aha!, and JIRA applications.Strong bias for action with a willingness to challenge the status quo.Ability to self-manage multiple projects.Comfortable analyzing data and presenting to executive stakeholders.Strong understanding of Teradata Vantage product portfolio.Experience formulating and driving business growth initiatives.Experience in delivering B2B enterprise platform-as-a-service offers.Experience leading organizational activities.Experience with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) methodologies.Experience with supporting investor relations for earnings call preparations.Previous leadership experience in Engineering and Product Management.Understanding of market research methodologies.Desire to learn and grow in a technical product management career.Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI / Tableau.PowerPoint and Excel Power User.Why We Think You’ll Love TeradataWe prioritize a people-first culture because we know our people are at the very heart of our success.
