About your new company:Established over 15 years ago, this organisation has grown to be one of Australia’s largest land transport operators. Operating across six States and Territories and employing over 3500 staff to provide a large number of customer connections each year.About your new role:Reporting to the General Manager of Finance, some of the responsibilities will include:Drafting content for the annual business plans relating to sustainable procurementOngoing management of the supply contracts for NSWEnsuring that all reporting obligations are carried out in a timely mannerSupporting the National Manager to ensure that all procurement activity is in line with the business procurement policiesSupporting and assisting with sustainable procurement practices to ensure compliance with relevant contracts, legislation, and accreditations, including ISO20400:2017Ensuring compliance with Group Financial Policy & Procedures and Financial Authority Limits and keeping up to date with best-in-class industry procurement practicesAbout you:To be successful in this role you will have the following:Proven experience in ProcurementExperience ideally within the Transport or Logistics IndustryKnowledge of or experience with ISO20400:2017 is highly desirableTertiary Qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Contract Law or BusinessPrevious experience in sustainable procurement activity, ideally within the heavy vehicle or transport industryExcellent communication skills both written and verbalWhat’s in it for you:- Flexibility and hybrid/working from home options- Generous salary of up to $140,000 + Super- Onsite parking- Career progression opportunitiesIf this opportunity sounds right for you, please click the Apply Now button now; or to have a confidential discussion please call Julie Luszczynski on 0400 824 583.
