Role:

Scarlett Hotel Group is looking for an energetic, focused, self-starter to lead the sales efforts for the Fairfield Inn & Suites Kansas City - Gladstone. This role requires active engagement with the KC - Gladstone business community as well as local, area and regional industry organizations. Developing and growing business relationships is critical for property success, so continuous networking and business development activities are a priority. This role directly reports to the property General Manager with a dotted line report to the VP, Sales & Marketing.

Hotel Director of Sales Duties:

Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company objectives.

Lead and manage the sales and marketing teams, providing guidance, support, and training.

Oversee the customer service function to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients.

Drive business development efforts to expand market share and increase revenue.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing strategies with overall company goals.

Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track sales activities, analyze data, and generate reports.

Manage key accounts and develop strong relationships with clients.

Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a leadership role within sales and marketing.

Strong background in technical sales or technology sales preferred.

Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to effectively foster a positive work environment.

Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.

Experience in account management and outside sales.

Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CRM software.
