We are partnering with a leading company in the specialty food industry to help them identify an experienced Vice President of Sales. This role, reporting to the SVP & GM, will focus on mentoring and developing an outside sales team while driving growth across new and existing accounts. The VP of Sales will be responsible for creating and executing growth plans, with an emphasis on team training and performance development. Target markets include QSR/Fast Casual and Casual Dining, as well as other industrial accounts, making this an exciting opportunity to lead a sales force toward achieving significant market penetration and revenue growth.This role could be perfect for you if the following excites you:

Foodservice & Industrial Business Development Experience : You will focus on both new customer acquisition and growth within existing accounts selling customized food solutions.Sales Leadership : You will develop and execute sales strategies, including mapping out a sales growth plan.Team Development : You have proven leadership experience managing an outside sales force, including implementing processes for consistency and providing targeted capability development for team members, guiding them to grow in their roles.Revenue Management : You have a proven track record meeting volume, profit margin, and KPI targets, while managing pricing decisions and contract renewals.Do you meet the following requirements?

Bachelor’s degree10+ years of sales experience in the food or B2B industry, with a focus on new market entry and customer growth.Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing sales team and align internal teams around new commercial plans.Experience in Value-Add/Solution Selling and the development of strategic sales approaches.Travel up to 25%.This position is based in the Chicagoland market and offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days in office. are being considered and there is NO relocation offered.This role offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $165K to $220K, a 35% performance bonus, 5 weeks of PTO, a generous car allowance, and a highly lucrative profit-sharing program.
