Position Overview
The Guidehouse Energy, Sustainability, & Infrastructure segment is a go-to partner for leaders creating sustainable, resilient communities and infrastructure, serving as trusted advisors to utilities and energy companies, large corporations, investors, NGOs, and the public sector. The North Market Team within the Commercial Energy practice works with utility clients across the energy value chain to guide them through the energy transition. We assist our clients to:Develop and implement their decarbonization and resiliency plans.Support the strategy, design, and evaluation of customer-focused programs, including energy efficiency, heat electrification, demand response, energy storage, electric transportation, distributed solar, and energy justice, among others.Support the development and implementation of distribution and transmission investments to modernize energy networks.As a

on the North Energy Providers team within the Guidehouse Energy, Sustainability, and Infrastructure segment, you will contribute to development of workstream results and client management. You will be expected to complete analysis and prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to clients.
We are looking for someone with a passion for creative problem solving, client service, and project management. Key responsibilities for this position include:
Providing detailed fact finding, research, and analysis on energy-related activities (particularly energy efficiency, grid modernization, renewable energy, customer programs, new business models, and sustainability)Performing statistical and economic analyses by creating spreadsheet modelsPreparing workshop and meeting materials, attending sessions, and summarizing outcomesPreparing reports, presentations and other documents for client deliverablesInterviewing business managers, technology experts, and public policy officialsPresenting results of assigned tasks and analyses to clientsWorking effectively with colleagues and client staff as part of a project team; work independently as needed.What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree (in an engineering, business, economics, environmental, science and/or related discipline) and one to three (1-3) years of relevant industry or consulting experience excluding internships/co-ops/fellowships; OR Advanced (Master's/MBA/PhD) degree and zero to one (0-1) years of relevant industry or consulting experience excluding internships/co-opsDemonstrated team player with ability to leadClient service orientationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency with data analyticsTireless attention to detail in all prior experience (academic and professional)Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, prioritize and plan work activities while meeting respective deadlinesHighly developed organizational and management skillsStrong presentation skills and the ability to shape results into storiesAbility to travel as neededNo sponsorship is available for this position; Due to the nature of our client, US citizenship may applyThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as describedThis role is a Hybrid role which will require you to go into the closest GH Office (Boston, MA; Burlington, MA; New York, NY; Detroit, MI; Arlington, VA; Chicago, IL) as needed or on occasion.What Would Be Nice To Have:

The annual salary range for this position is $71,800.00-$107,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
