Position Summary:

As a leader in the marketing function, this position is responsible for developing and ensuring efficient and effective development and execution of the product marketing plans and execution for all Bendix product lines consistent with the company's strategy and objectives. This position is responsible for driving completion of product marketing launch activities and ongoing promotion by supporting the Bendix sales team and working closely with the Digital marketing team. Through a cross-functional, global approach this entails overseeing, optimizing, sustaining the use of existing and new tools to drive equipment take rates and build market awareness of Bendix product offerings through precice knowledge of target audiences.

Essential Functions:

Leads a team of marketing analysts to develop product marketing messages, unique selling points, features/benefits of all Bendix product lines.Working manager that will actively be responsible for product marketing activities for certain Bendix product lines.Manages the team to cover product marketing activities for all Bendix product lines. Assigns analysts as needed.Responsible for marketing product launch collateral including video(s), brochures, web sites, Operator's manuals, Service Data Sheet input.Responsible for team's completion of tactical marketing plans.Works closely with cross-functional departments including: legal, engineering, digital marketing team, demo team, systems engineering, sales team, tech team, aftermarket marketing team, sales operations and others as responsibilities dictate.Builds customer relationships to promote Bendix products and their availability on OEM platforms and to facilitate fleet pull-through.Promotes products and their features to an organization's target audience.Develop working knowledge of all Bendix products, customers and competitionStudies the company's products, locates key features that will attract customers and creates marketing campaigns for products.Drives market research as needed to execute marketing plans.Ensures a stable product marketing launches to meet .Able to recognize and document Voice of Customer feedback and articulate it to product teams and management.Assists in planning and managing the product marketing budget, aligned with its respective sales and tactical marketing plans.Utilzies the company's resources in a prioritized manner that allows for strong branding.Able to manage multiple product marketing launches simultaneously.Manages a marketing team of professionals to ensure employee performance and development is addressed along with ensuring goals and objectives are met for the individual and the business needs.Ensure efficient utilization of existing tools and platforms, includes training others as needed.Identifies market trends and uses web analytic tools to analyze campaign performance, bringing forth insight into what competitors are doing in the market.Develop a firm understanding of market segmentation audiences that consume Bendix marketing content within the commercial vehicle industry.Knowledge:

How to develop product marketing messaging including features, benefits, USPs, limitations.Bendix product knowledgeOverall commercial vehicle industry knowledge of the OE, Fleet, Dealer and Aftermarket channels, including OES, IAM a plusProgram management and/or Product management experienceMaintains current knowledge of online marketing opportunities and trends, web analytics, and SEO techniques.A sound grasp of high level overall vehicle systems including braking (pneumatic, and electrical architecture) and the interactions of the braking systems with other portions of the vehicle (i.e. engine, transmission, dash and interface to the operator of the vehicle) preferred.Experience:

7+ years of experience in marketing, sales, product management, program management or business development required.3+ years marketing collateral creation experience (brainstorming, design, iteration, release).Must have experience in marketing industrial-type products.Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle or heavy industrial equipment industry required.Recommended 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on process management.Recommended experience with digital marketing automation tools (e.g., Hubspot, Marketo, Google analytics) is preferred.Recommended experience with Search Engine Opitmization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).Skills:

Adobe suite and marketing automation tools a plus.Fluent in English; Bi-lingual a plusEducation:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Communications, or related business area required.MBA preferred.Greenbelt certification a plus.Position Requirements:
