Job Details

A reputable Plaintiffs' Personal Injury Law Firm in New Jersey seeks an experienced, full-time Spanish-speaking Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IME scheduling and coordination
  • Drafting letters to examining doctors with medical records, accident descriptions, and examination requests
  • Preparation and filing of complaints, motions for summary judgment, and other legal documents
  • Drafting and filing of motions for medical examinations, document production, and other discovery-related matters
  • Requesting and reviewing medical records, police reports, and accident scene photographs
  • Serving as a liaison between clients, insurance companies, opposing attorneys, and court personnel
  • Tracking case deadlines, statutes of limitations, and clients' medical treatments
  • Handling high volume of incoming calls while managing in-person inquiries
  • Preparing settlement demand packages and negotiation support documents
  • Drafting and processing medical authorizations and releases

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in personal injury law
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (bilingual)
  • Proficiency in case management software (e.g., PC Law, Needles)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule and Location:

  • 40-hour work week
  • Monday to Thursday: Regular office hours
  • Friday: One hour early release
  • In-office position
