Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 per year

The HR Supervisor will need to have experience managing, coaching, developing, and partnering. This is a crucial role that reports directly to the VP/HR Director.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Supervisor to join our growing team in the construction industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who is passionate about fostering a positive work environment, driving employee engagement, and delivering HR solutions that support our business goals. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and compensation & benefits.

Responsibilities

As a Human Resources Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead and manage the HR team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts to ensure we attract and retain the best talent in the industry.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Nurture a positive working environment by maintaining a high level of communication with all employees.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 6+ years' experience in Human Resources Management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Training & Development, HR Policies & Procedures, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS Systems, Organizational Development, Employment Law, Strategic Planning, Conflict Resolution, and Team Building.
  • A degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR department staff members.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent people management skills and an ability to handle sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.
