Responsibilities

As a Permanent Piping Superintendent, you will:

1. Supervise all piping operations, including the installation of piping and HVAC equipment
2. Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to design and implement efficient piping systems and strategies.
3. Conduct regular inspections of piping systems to ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards.
4. Coordinate and oversee the work of the piping team, providing guidance and support as necessary.
5. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our piping operations.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
7. Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role leading piping crews
2. Proven experience leading mechanical piping projects.
3. Strong knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques used in the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. A commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
