Salary: $75,000 - $105,000 per year

Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about tax, looking to leverage their skills and knowledge in a challenging role. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, providing tax advisory services, and developing tax planning strategies for our clients. This role requires a high level of analytical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Tax Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
2. Providing expert tax advisory services to clients, including interpreting and explaining tax laws and regulations.
3. Developing and implementing effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings for clients.
4. Researching and analyzing complex tax issues and providing clear, concise, and practical advice.
5. Assisting with tax audits and resolving tax disputes with tax authorities.
6. Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and updating clients on how these changes may affect them.
7. Training and mentoring junior staff and contributing to the team's overall knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Tax Accountant position will have the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation, tax advisory, and tax planning.
3. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
4. Proficiency in tax software and technology tools.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
7. High level of professionalism and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and complete them in a timely manner.
10. Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
