We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our prestigious legal team. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in our corporate legal department, providing comprehensive legal support to our team of attorneys. The role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities, including drafting legal documents, conducting research, and providing support in real estate escrow and title matters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role and a solid understanding of corporate law and real estate transactions. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive paralegal support to our corporate legal team, including drafting, revising, and finalizing legal documents and agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various corporate and real estate matters.
- Manage all aspects of real estate transactions, including escrow and title matters.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with government agencies.
- Coordinate and manage the due diligence process in real estate transactions.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system for all legal documents.
- Liaise effectively with internal and external parties, including clients, attorneys, and court officials.
- Stay abreast of changes in corporate and real estate law, ensuring compliance at all times.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Corporate Paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Extensive experience in real estate transactions, specifically with real estate escrow and title.
- Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
- A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Paralegal certification is preferred but not required.
