Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

Job Details

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position within our Construction division. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and technical aspects of our construction projects to ensure accuracy and timeliness. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in construction engineering, project management, and team leadership. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for construction, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Project Engineers are responsible to assist the project manager and superintendent with all tasks required for the success of the project. PE’s should have good time management, and strong communication skills. Chief tasks include but are not limited to:

Invoices

Subcontractor management

Jobsite walks

Timecards

Material Procurement/ scheduling

Look ahead schedules

Daily game plans

CO & RFI tracking

Cost and labor tracking and projections

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 4 years of experience in project engineering, preferably within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience managing look ahead schedules and timecards.
4. Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, regulatory approvals, etc.
5. Project management and supervision skills.
6. Strong decision-making ability and leadership skills.
7. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficiency in MS project, AutoCAD, and other construction-related software.
10. Knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
11. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
12. Current engineering license in the state of practice preferred.
