Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Permanent Project Engineer to join our thriving team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in HVAC systems, heating, and cooling. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing HVAC projects, scheduling, and commercial operations. This position requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of HVAC projects from inception to completion.
2. Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
3. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
4. Perform HVAC system calculations and equipment selection.
5. Review HVAC designs and specifications to ensure they meet project requirements and standards.
6. Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team regarding HVAC systems.
7. Conduct site inspections to ensure the proper installation and operation of HVAC systems.
8. Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, costs, and outcomes.
9. Identify and mitigate potential risks or issues that could impact project success.
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies, trends, and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in plumbing project management, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems, heating, and cooling principles.
4. Strong understanding of commercial HVAC applications.
5. Proven experience with project scheduling and management.
6. Familiarity with take off procedures and calculations.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
10. Proficient in using computer software and applications related to HVAC design and project management.
11. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
12. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
