We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated Permanent Mechanical Engineer (HVAC Design) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work on a variety of challenging projects that include designing, building, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position requires a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design HVAC systems for a variety of facilities, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, using advanced design software such as AutoCAD.
  2. Develop comprehensive plans and coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure the successful implementation of HVAC systems.
  3. Perform load and energy calculations, equipment sizing and selection, and system layout.
  4. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to determine the best HVAC solutions that meet the clients' requirements.
  5. Evaluate and troubleshoot existing HVAC systems and recommend modifications to improve efficiency and performance.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies and industry trends to provide the most effective solutions.
  7. Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
  8. Collaborate with team members, provide guidance to junior engineers, and participate in project meetings and presentations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design and mechanical engineering.
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
  4. Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and design standards.
  5. Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
  9. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  10. Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
