Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Billing Manager to join our finance team. This position plays a pivotal role in managing the billing operations and ensuring that our financial transactions are accurate, timely, and in compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising our entire billing department, from the creation of invoices to the management of customer accounts. This is a high-impact role that requires a strong understanding of A/R, Reconcile, eBilling Hub electronic billing, elite, adrant, management, billing, and contracts.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and streamline billing and collections operations, ensuring all processes are executed appropriately and in a timely manner.
2. Manage the creation and sending of invoices, ensuring all bills are accurate and sent out on time.
3. Lead the implementation and maintenance of billing systems and ensure that they meet the needs of our clients and our business.
4. Ensure all billing, financial data, and reports are accurate and produced on time.
5. Monitor and reconcile accounts receivables, promptly identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
6. Work closely with other departments to implement and maintain best billing practices.
7. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure billing efficiency and accuracy.
8. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the billing team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and high performance.
9. Handle complex and escalated customer billing issues, providing effective and timely resolution.
10. Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to billing and collections.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (nice to have
2. 5+ years of experience in a billing manager role, preferably within the finance industry.
3. Proficiency in A/R, Reconcile, eBilling Hub electronic billing, elite, adrant, management, billing, and contracts.
4. Strong knowledge of billing procedures, best practices, and regulations.
5. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex billing issues.
7. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
11. Strong understanding of customer relationships and excellent customer service skills.
