Job Details

Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on production machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in equipment and machinery, and determine the best course of action for repairs.

Repairs: Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems to restore equipment to proper working condition.

Equipment Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify potential issues or areas for improvement, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Update maintenance logs and complete work orders.

Collaboration: Work closely with the production team and other departments to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively about maintenance schedules and equipment status.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. Participate in safety training and initiatives.

Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to maintenance procedures and equipment performance. Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Proficiency with hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various conditions (e.g., confined spaces, high places).
