Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our mechanical and electrical systems. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and tasks. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical systems to identify and fix faults before they escalate.
2. Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
3. Troubleshoot and repair faulty mechanical and electrical systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to devise efficient repair and maintenance strategies.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures during repair and maintenance operations.
7. Train junior technicians and provide them with the necessary support and guidance.
8. Stay abreast of the latest developments in the engineering field and incorporate them into your work when applicable.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proficient in mechanical and electrical systems.
3. Extensive experience with preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
4. In-depth knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
9. A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. Certifications in relevant fields will be an added advantage.
