Are you a seasoned accounting professional, looking for a challenging role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This is a permanent role that will offer you an opportunity to lead and shape the financial direction of our company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our accounting operations, including account reconciliation, financial accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax accounting, financial auditing, risk management, financial analysis, forecasting, and cost accounting.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
2. Managing the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
3. Overseeing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
4. Performing account reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
5. Preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
6. Conducting financial audits, identifying and addressing any financial risks or issues.
7. Performing financial analysis, identifying trends, and providing insights to support business decision-making.
8. Developing and managing financial forecasts, providing accurate and timely financial projections.
9. Implementing and managing cost accounting systems, ensuring accurate and efficient cost tracking.
10. Assisting with risk management, identifying and mitigating financial risks.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant role will have:

1. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on account reconciliation, financial accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax accounting, financial auditing, risk management, financial analysis, forecasting, and cost accounting.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
7. The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
8. A proactive and results-oriented attitude, with a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.
