Job Details

Quality Engineer responsible to plan, implement, and administer cost effective Quality Programs to assure that a system is in place which will meet or exceed contractual quality requirements and provide the required level of protection internally and to our customers. This person will be driving crucial quality related decisions for both our suppliers and internal team.

  • Minimum 3+years of Quality Engineering experience in the Aerospace industry
  • Experience with AS9100 standards
  • Proficiency with statistical, spreadsheet, word processing, and database software packages
  • Experience supporting government and customer audits
  • Specialized technical knowledge of mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydro-mechanical components as well as manufacturing assembly, and functional test methods
  • The ability to support quality related issues to drive program success; the ability to convey confidence to customers during frequent interactions
  • ASQ certification is a plus
  • Support production by conducting QE studies, recommending design changes and providing quality support to manufacturing personnel.
  • Activities will include failure analysis, root cause and corrective action analysis, risk mitigation, material review, customer & governmental interface, audit support configuration control, traceability and

audit support.

  • Develop Quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing operations, assembly & test processes and final inspection.
  • Work directly with customers and suppliers to identify root cause and corrective action.
  • Optimize cost for inspection and prevent cost due to failure through statistical analysis and problem solving.
