Our prestigious law firm is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Financial Services Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a committed individual who can bring a wealth of knowledge in litigation, particularly in financial services. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join a firm that values growth, development, and a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Financial Services Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for:

1. Representing a broad array of financial institutions such as banks, credit card companies, mortgage bankers, and other consumer finance companies in litigation matters.
2. Handling all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial.
3. Providing legal advice and guidance on a wide range of financial services related matters.
4. Negotiating settlements to resolve disputes in the best interest of our clients.
5. Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company and its clients.
6. Developing case strategies, such as trying to resolve cases early, litigating them, etc.
7. Participating in business development efforts including writing articles, speaking at conferences, and networking with potential clients.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Financial Services Litigation Attorney position must possess the following qualifications:

1. J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
4. Proven background in managing all phases of litigation from start to finish.
5. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
6. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve complex disputes.
7. Proficient in legal research and writing.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate legal principles and practices to non-lawyers.
