Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for glass construction projects, including defining scope, objectives, schedule, and budget.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of project specifications and design

requirements.

  • Source and procure high-quality glass materials and related supplies from reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-effective strategies to keep projects within budget limits.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors and construction teams involved in glass installation and related tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on the construction

site.

  • Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure that glass installations meet stringent quality standards and design specifications.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing timely updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or

issues that may arise.

  • Assess and mitigate potential risks and challenges, implementing contingency plans when necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor and adjust project schedules to meet deadlines and milestones, proactively addressing any schedule deviations.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.
  • Implement sustainable and energy-efficient glass solutions whenever possible, aligning with environmental and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record as a Glass Construction Project Manager with successful completion of glass-related construction projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of glass installation techniques, glazing systems, and relevant industry standards.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Proficiency in construction project management software and tools.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications related to glass installations.
  • Knowledge of glass manufacturing processes, fabrication, and customization is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Prior experience in sustainable and energy-efficient glass construction projects is advantageous.
