As a Senior Litigation Attorney, you will:
- Manage a caseload of complex litigation matters related to medical malpractice, wrongful death, and sexual assault.
- Conduct thorough and detailed investigations to gather all relevant facts and evidence.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs, and argue cases in state and federal courts.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in a manner that aligns with their best interests.
- Provide legal advice to clients, ensuring they are fully informed of their rights and legal options.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional service at all times.
- Stay updated on current laws and regulations, applying them to cases as needed.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals, sharing knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Litigation Attorney position will possess the following:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, with significant experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, and sexual assault cases.
- Proven track record of successfully litigating complex cases from inception to conclusion.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve disputes in a fair and equitable manner.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and formulate effective strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain complex legal matters to clients.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple cases simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
