We are seeking a dedicated and highly-skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, permanent position with an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with cutting-edge ultrasound technology and collaborate with a team of experienced healthcare professionals. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient care and is eager to grow their career in the medical imaging field.

Responsibilities:

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  1. Performing high-quality ultrasound procedures according to departmental protocols and physician orders.
  2. Maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
  3. Providing clear and detailed images for diagnostic interpretation.
  4. Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss case findings.
  5. Assisting in the management and care of patients before, during, and after ultrasound procedures.
  6. Ensuring the ultrasound equipment is in optimal working condition and reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  7. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current ultrasound technology and techniques.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  2. Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in the abdomen and obstetrics/gynecology (ob/gyn).
  3. Strong technical skills with the ability to produce and evaluate ultrasound images and related data that are used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis.
  4. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to explain complex medical information in a clear and compassionate manner.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  6. A high level of professionalism and adherence to all privacy and patient safety regulations.
  7. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
