Job Description

Provide litigation support to the Labor and Employment Group (LEG).

Assist attorneys with case management from inception through trial or settlement.

Draft, review, and revise legal documents, pleadings, and discovery materials.

Manage case files, document production, and witness summaries.

Prepare deposition and hearing materials, including exhibits and witness outlines.

Proofread and cite-check briefs for accuracy and compliance.

Coordinate subpoenas, document requests, and litigation support services.

Perform eDiscovery and database management using recognized review platforms.

Maintain accurate and timely billable time entries.

Work extended hours as necessary, including occasional travel for case support.

Qualifications

Certified to work as a paralegal under California law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code section 6450).

5+ years of recent experience as a paralegal in California, preferably in labor and employment law. 2 of those recent years being in litigation.

Proficiency in Office365 (Word, Excel), legal research databases (Westlaw, Lexis), and litigation support tools (iManage, CompuLaw).

Strong understanding of federal and state court rules and procedures.

Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team under tight deadlines.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
