Senior Contracts Specialist

The Senior Contracts Specialist position is responsible for all contractual activities from the date an order is received through to shipment while maintaining strict use of Rotork’s systems and procedures. The position requires knowledge and experience in valve automation, technical acumen and attention to detail together with a strong commitment to top-quality customer service. Responsibilities will include:Responsible for order entry and contractual activities from order receipt through shipmentChampion on time delivery to the customer and ensure a high level of customer satisfactionKnowledge of Rotork Gears products and their application in all sectorsPoint of reference for specific knowledge within the Contracts teamWork with the Engineering department to effectively prioritize and expedite engineered orders through to production releaseProactively review Past Due Orders and Orders scheduled to ship during the week and work with Supply Chain for resolutionsLiaison between all departments (sales, engineering, quality, production) within Rotork factories to ensure the fulfilment of customer requirementsTrack all orders as they move through the overall process including key dates and actionsStrive to meet and exceed department objectives for delivery, quality, inventory, and costUse existing procedures to solve routine or standard problemsOrganize the working day so that priorities are addressed, customer expectations are met and internal delays reducedProvide technical phone support and serve as a resource for our customers, representatives, distributors, Business Development and Area Sales Managers to help promote RotorkUndertake any other job function as required by your supervisorQualifications

Degree or mechanical engineering qualification or equivalentTypically 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar roleUnderstanding of engineering drawingsCommercial awareness or a background in Customer ServiceKnowledge of material pricingIn-depth product/application knowledge and specific experience in own disciplineExperience in the valve industry#li-hybridAdditional Information
