Job Description:The RoleAs a Director, Platform Architecture for Digital Assets, you will be responsible for designing and building software for projects spanning multiple engineering groups at Fidelity Digital Assets. This is a hands-on role where you will write code and set technical direction. You will be responsible for turning requirements into service designs and will collaborate with architects across other product areas and business units to drive overall architecture of the Fidelity Digital Assets platform.

The Expertise and Skills You BringBatchelor's degree in computer science8+ years of software engineering experienceProduction experience with Java and Springboot. Python is a plusExperience designing and building large scale production distributed systems with focus on customer experience, scale, resilience and performanceProficient in principles of API design and its application using REST. Websockets/GraphQL is a plusExperience with reactive and functional programming conceptsFamiliarity with AWS services architecture and solution patterns is preferredExperience with Data architecture, SQL, ETL, batch operations, warehousing is a plusExposure to infrastructure as code, test automation, CI/CD, and containerizationStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given timeAbility to collaborate stake holders to understand business requirementExperience in managing technology vendor relationships

The TeamFidelity Digital Assets, a Fidelity Investments Company, is developing a full-service enterprise-grade platform for storing, trading, and servicing digital assets, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
