This is an onsite position with flexible work hours. Occasional work-from-home days are permitted, but this is not a hybrid or remote position.
Experience with Yardi and CAM reconciliation is essential.

Job DetailsJob Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of property accounting and have a strong understanding of Yardi software. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Property Accountant will play a critical role in the company's financial management, including the handling of daily operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the full cycle of accounting activities for a portfolio of properties.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities, and provide variance analysis to help guide business decisions.
- Handle the reconciliation of bank and general ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and procedures.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
- Utilize Yardi software to automate, track, and analyze financial data.
- Assist with annual audits and provide support to external auditors as needed.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting is required.
- Proven experience with Yardi software is a must.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
