Job Details:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a proven track record in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
2. Developing and managing project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
3. Conducting contract negotiations and managing contracts to ensure all terms are met.
4. Implementing effective cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
5. Leading strategic planning sessions to identify project goals, determine budget and timeline, and establish project scope.
6. Conducting construction estimating to determine project cost and feasibility.
7. Coordinating with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
8. Identifying and managing project risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies.
9. Ensuring compliance with all relevant construction standards and regulations.
10. Providing regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and project forecasts.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in contract management, scheduling, negotiation, cost control, strategic planning, and construction estimating.
3. A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification will be an added advantage.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Proficiency in project management software tools.
8. Knowledge of construction standards and regulations.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
