Salary: $23 - $30 per hour

My client is a leading aerospace manufacturer and is in the market to add a Quality Inspector to their team.

Compensation up to $25/hr

Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
2. Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
3. Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
4. Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.
5. Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
6. Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
7. Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
8. Supervise the production process to ensure that all products meet quality criteria.
9. Perform a thorough inspection using a variety of tools including micrometers to ensure precise measurements and quality control.
10. Report to the Quality Manager and provide feedback and recommendations for maintaining the highest quality products.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, Quality Control, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
2. Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
3. Experience with a variety of inspection tools including micrometers.
4. Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and plans.
5. Working knowledge of the latest inspection techniques.
