Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

Are you a seasoned litigation attorney with a passion for justice and a knack for winning cases? If so, we are looking for you. Our firm is on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced, and highly skilled Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced legal environment where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the legal landscape of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in liability law and a proven track record of successful litigation.

1. Representing clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
2. Conducting research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
3. Presenting and summarizing cases to judges and juries.
4. Examining legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting a lawsuit.
5. Evaluating findings and developing strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
6. Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
7. Negotiating settlements of civil disputes.
8. Supervising legal assistants and paralegals, and law clerks.
9. Performing administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
10. Advocating for clients in court and representing them in mediation and negotiation proceedings.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be an active member in good standing with the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with significant experience in liability law.
4. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent negotiation skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
8. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
9. Proficiency with legal research software and platforms.
10. Proven track record of courtroom success.
