Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of personal injury cases including initial client meetings, case evaluations, and investigations.
- Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis to prepare for court proceedings.
- Develop case strategies and present cases in court, ensuring the best possible outcome for clients.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies to secure maximum compensation for clients.
- Conduct depositions of parties and witnesses.
- Provide sound legal advice to clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.
- Collaborate with legal support staff to manage case files and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Stay updated on developments in personal injury law and participate in professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
- Proven trial experience and a strong record of successful case settlements.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex issues.
- Proficient in conducting investigations and legal research.
- Exceptional legal writing skills and the ability to draft clear, concise, and effective legal documents.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Superior organizational and case management skills, with the ability to handle a large caseload and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in the use of legal software for case management.
- A deep commitment to the ethical and professional standards that govern the legal profession.
