Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal support and representation to clients who have been injured as a result of negligence or wrongdoing.
  2. Conduct thorough case investigations to identify all potential sources of recovery.
  3. Review and interpret medical records, reports, and insurance policies.
  4. Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense attorneys.
  5. Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, briefs, and contracts.
  6. Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediation.
  7. Collaborate with legal staff and colleagues to develop effective case strategies.
  8. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing any questions or concerns.
  9. Stay current with developments in personal injury law and participate in professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
  3. Admission to the state bar.
  4. Proven track record of successful personal injury case management from inception to closure.
  5. Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to resolve cases favorably.
  6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  8. Ability to manage a large caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  9. Proficiency in legal research software and MS Office.
  10. Empathy and advocacy skills, with a passion for helping clients navigate through difficult times.
