Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax and Estate Planning Attorney to join our firm.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax law, estate planning, and trust administration, and be comfortable advising clients on strategies to preserve and transfer wealth, minimize tax liabilities, and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.

  • Provide comprehensive estate planning services, including drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
  • Advise clients on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies, charitable giving, and asset protection.
  • Counsel clients on estate, gift, and income tax matters, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws.
  • Assist with the administration of estates and trusts, including probate proceedings and preparation of related tax returns.
  • Represent clients in IRS audits, tax disputes, and other related proceedings.
  • Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting estate planning and wealth management.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to develop holistic solutions for clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and their families.
  • Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Florida Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax and estate planning law.
  • LL.M. in Taxation (preferred but not required).
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and Florida estate, gift, and income tax laws.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting complex legal documents.
