We are seeking experienced and dedicated Millwork Installers and Drafters to join our dynamic team. As a Millwork Installer and Drafter, you will be responsible for crafting, installing, and drafting high-quality custom wood furniture and installations. Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed millwork designs using drafting tools and software.
  • Interpret and read architectural drawings and specifications to determine the layout, type of wood, and other materials required.
  • Craft, assemble, and install architectural woodwork, including custom wood furniture, based on designs and drawings.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure that the final product meets the design specifications and the company's high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure project timelines and client expectations are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the design, materials, or installation process.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and safety regulations in the woodworking and millwork industry.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural woodworking, millwork, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in drafting and creating millwork designs.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from architectural drawings.
  • Experience in the installation of custom wood furniture.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
  • A commitment to safety and knowledge of safety protocols in the woodworking and millwork industry.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in woodworking, drafting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
