As a Permanent Family Law Attorney, you will be at the forefront of our mission to provide comprehensive legal services to clients facing various family law matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney who is passionate about advocating for the rights and best interests of clients in matters concerning divorce, child custody, child support, and other related issues. You will have the opportunity to handle complex cases, work closely with clients to understand their needs, and guide them through the legal process with compassion and expertise.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, and related matters.
  2. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, and motions.
  3. Represent clients in court hearings and trials, effectively presenting their case and arguing on their behalf.
  4. Conduct thorough case analysis and investigation to identify and address all relevant issues.
  5. Negotiate with opposing counsel to reach fair and equitable settlements.
  6. Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and advising them on potential outcomes.
  7. Develop and implement case strategies that align with clients' objectives and the best interests of any involved children.
  8. Conduct legal research and stay updated on developments in family law to ensure the provision of up-to-date, accurate advice.
  9. Manage case files and documentation effectively, ensuring all information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

Qualifications

  1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney, with a proven track record in handling divorce, child custody, child support, and related cases.
  3. Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
  4. Proficient in drafting various legal documents including pleadings, briefs, affidavits, and motions.
  5. Strong courtroom presence with extensive experience in conducting trials and hearings.
  6. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to reach beneficial settlements.
  7. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear, understandable manner.
  8. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively.
  9. Strong ethical and professional standards, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  10. Proficient in legal research and familiar with the latest developments in family law.
  11. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
  12. Compassionate and understanding, with a commitment to advocating for the best interests of clients and their families.
