Job Description

Trust Relations is looking for an Account Coordinator to join our dynamic team. You will be working as a remote Freelancer (1099 contractor), have substantial experience executing innovative publicity campaigns in the B2B technology and consumer lifestyle space (including consumer brands, fashion, luxury, travel, food, home, etc.), as well as be passionate and enthusiastic about our industry. Account work may also include content strategy, creation and distribution, as well as data-driven reporting & analysis. This is a great opportunity for someone with entry-level experience, looking to grow their career and take on more responsibility in a PR / marketing role.

You’ll be a master of execution and consistently deliver high-quality results for a variety of clients. You’ll confidently interact with client contacts through email and calls, as needed. You’ll easily navigate responsibilities on multiple clients with great success, and show consistent performance across a variety of accounts with an ability to take fluctuations in workload with ease. You learn quickly, rarely make the same mistakes twice, and consistently instill confidence in senior team members.

Duties include:

Work across multiple B2B/tech, consumer and lifestyle accounts to consistently produce results within our core services of media relations

Actively participate and contribute to client calls, when needed

Develop and foster an exceptional rapport with current and potential clients

Ensuring the strategic value and highest quality of all client deliverables

Communicating – both verbally and written – regarding strategic client documents and discussions

Respond to client requests and ensure requests are taken care of in an efficient manner

Assist where needed in writing press releases, pitch letters, and communication plans

Executing all aspects of strategic media relations; leveraging existing relationships with reporters and outlets on behalf of client and agency

Building new media relationships; proactively engaging media on a regular basis

Securing and staffing interviews; developing savvy and timely ideas and moving pitches from “concept to coverage”

Perform both ongoing and ad-hoc projects as necessary

Qualifications:

Skills Required:

1+ years’ PR experience

B.S/B.A in public relations, marketing, business communications or related field, preferred

Must have both the ability to work independently without guidance, as well as collaboratively with a team

Must be detail-oriented and highly organized

Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality

Out-of-the-box thinker and creative writer
