$36.00 - $40.00City Experiences is seeking a QMED in San FranciscoAbout You:This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.About the Opportunity:The Qualified Member of the Engineering Department (QMED) holds an MMD with an appropriate QMED or Assistant Engineer's rating. He works directly with the Chief Engineer.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Start, monitor and maintain all machineryAssist Chief Engineer in all aspectsHandle mooring linesParticipate in Safety and Security drills as required on WQSBEnforce crew and passenger safetyStand engine watches as requiredBe trained in use of fixed fire suppression systemsQMED is assigned an IBAComplete "Security Officer" trainingFill and pump fluids as neededSwitch from Shore Power to Generator and backAssist other departments as requestedKnow procedures and plans for fueling and spill preventionAdditional job duties assignedRequirements & Qualifications:TSA TWICFirst Aid/CPRUSCG MMD with QMED ratingUSCG Assistant Engineer's License with appropriate horsepower and route ratings desiredAdditional ratings recommended: Lifeboat, Firefighting, STCWHigh School or equivalencyTwo years qualified engine room experienceAbout Us:City Experiences' passion is to provide amazing experiences on land and water.
