As Head of Manufacturing, you will be a critical member of our team and will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our company, while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that will challenge and inspire you. In this role, you will be leading the manufacturing engineering team, production, and inventory management. The workday will consist of working in a fast-paced environment with the sole focus on scaling the manufacturing operations. You will be collaborating closely with management, engineers, technicians, leadership, and customers. Your commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-centric products will not only enhance the user experience but also set the standard for other team members. Salary parameters for this role are based on experience, with a base in the $160,000 to $250,000 range. In addition, we also offer equity participation and full benefits. This position is onsite and will be based at our company headquarters in Redondo Beach, CA.
Responsibilities:Responsible for the product output of the factory.Lead a team of manufacturing engineers, production managers, technicians, and inventory management personnel.Set KPI's to improve the overall build process from procuring parts, kitting, work instruction creation, inventory control, manufacturing operations, training, and quality control.Work closely with Senra's CTO to determine the software roadmap and prioritize production implementation for the highest ROI.Spearhead the recruiting effort for the manufacturing team by writing the JD's, creating the hiring roadmap, and working with the recruiting team on a hiring game plan.Responsible for scaling the manufacturing capacity with machines, technicians, manufacturing engineers, facility search, and automation improvements.Consistently outline how to reduce manufacturing capacity with software and hardware improvements.Give a damn about our customers and go above and beyond for them when it is needed.Maintain the work hard, play hard culture. We have a never-ending backlog, so let's have fun while doing it.Required Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years in a manufacturing environment.Minimum 4 years in a management role (direct reports) of multi-functional teams.Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.Has worked on scaling manufacturing production by at least 5X the throughput.Knowledge of AS9100 process operations and implementation.Looks at any manufacturing process and consistently thinks how to improve it.Willingness to wear many hats and get hands dirty: e.g. jump in and tackle a small software development ticket.Strong ability to analyze data and customer feedback to make informed decisions.Is motivated, driven, able to self-teach new concepts and learn quickly.Is creative, thinks outside of the box.Possesses excellent communication skills; articulates clearly and has a clear preference for over-communication when confronted with a challenge.Is a team player with high empathy; will set an example for future hires and contribute foundationally to company culture.Is, above all, a curious, quick, and ambitious learner.Preferred Qualifications:
