is seeking a
Human Resources Director
to work in their South Portland office with hybrid flexibility.
Requirements of the Human Resources Director:
Bachelor’s degree and/or professional certification such as SHRM
5-10 years of progressive Human Resources Leadership experience.
Experience leading a team and coaching direct staff and managers.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Director:
Oversees performance of the department personnel. Coach managers and direct reports, conducts performance evaluations, implements performance management plans, and makes hiring, termination & promotion recommendations.
Collaborates with the leadership team to create and execute a talent management evaluation program.
Participates in the development of the organizational 5-year strategic plan. Drives the execution of the strategic plan. Works with managers to establish annual department plan and key performance goals.
Oversees operations of the Human Resources department. Acts as Subject Matter Expert in applicable regulations, laws, industry standards and makes policy and procedure recommendations.
